From a few days ago… one of the reasons I love my 20D. Behold the Fat Dawg (also beholdable here and here):
It is my single favourite lens. Not for its quality (alas, being an EF-S lens, it’s not an L series piece of glass, leading to the oft repreated refrain: it might be wide, but it ain’t an “Ell”) but for it’s kitsch value. Go ahead, take a look at the other samples on Flickr. I like wide lenses, and back in the day (you know, when Playboy was considered “groovy”) I lusted after a fisheye.
Well now, I have other priorities
