Where's Teddy Now?

Nine

The little girl, she’s nine months old today. Three quarters of a year. Oh how the time flies.*

Nine months

So where are we at this point? Six confirmed teeth, with one more imminent. She can point, clap her hands, do the puckering the lips-kiss thingy. She’s beginning to eat food that doesn’t make me gag (the stuff we’re eating, pulled and choped up before the major spices come in to play). She’s somewhat mobile. Not actually crawling, she has this backwards shuffle that gets her around a bit.

For example, back up into the fridge, from which she can’t really extract herself.

Up to now, she hasn’t been dropped (well, Ti let her fall off the couch, but that doesn’t really count), hasn’t broken any bones, and hasn’t asked to go out on a date.

What doesn’t she do yet? Crawling isn’t quite there yet (but then again, it’s not an official milestone – some babies go straight to walking). She hasn’t had milk or cheese (although she loves yogurt) or citrus fruits or juice. She’s not making any serious money for us yet either, but we are working on upgrading her education.

And did I say she isn’t seeing any boys yet? Hoping that will last another 20 years.

* ( Not fast enough… can’t wait for Ellie to move out and begin paying parent support. 🙂 )
