Resolutions, yeh I’ve had a few. I don’t buy into that schtick anymore. But I do have some things I’d like to do.
The first is this: One.
Number one of (a possible) 365. One photograph every day for a year. It will force me to carry my rig with me everywhere I go, which while heavy, ain’t a bad thing. Plus it will make me feel a bit more worthy when I pick up my 5D Mk. II.
I uploaded (to Flickr) a grand total of 287 pictures last year, which is by my own estiamtion pretty pathetic.
I’d like to do more. I want to do more. Let’s see if I can take one a day (not necessarily posted every day, though).
This is the block heater cord in front of our house. Highly illegal it is, too, crossing the sidewalk as it does. Well, we have good neighbours here, so it’s not a huge worry. This is unedited; I had wanted to straighten it our a bit (perhaps 0.5Ëš of CW rotation) but I sort of like the tilt effect.
