The seasons are changing, and it is clearly autumn here in the Kyklades of Greece. A bit more overcast, some rain (flooding in Athens and Piraeas, apparently). But here in Mykonos, when the sun shines, it’s HOT.
This is our ferry arriving to take us to Syros.
Although you can’t tell here, the swells upon hitting the wharf are 1-2 metres. The spray hits back 30 or 40 metres inland. We were tasting the salt from the waiting area. The stevedores had a bit of a chore tying up.
