Day 134 – Squid

You find dried (or drying) squid everywhere in Thailand; it seems to be a staple. There were a half dozen racks like this just laying in the sun along the beach road of Rayong. So close to the big city, yet a world apart.

When you find it like this in the market, you can slice it in strips and add it to stir fries, scrambled eggs, or just eat it like jerky.

None of which ways we’ve actually tried yet.
