Day 127 – The fishing life

Sangkhae River, Cambodia

Even around landlocked Battambang, Cambodia’s second city, water plays an important role in everyday life. This is the river that flows through that city, some unnamed village about ten km upstream. In the rainy season, all the green you see is submerged under a mighty torrent.

In the winter, it’s time to set nets and fish.
