We’ve been in-country for less than a week, but already we’ve noticed many differences between Vietnam and other SE Asian countries. Children are not allowed into bars, for instance. Everyone (well, almost everyone) wears helmets on their motorcycles.
And there are posted lifeguards on Bac My An Beach who herd swimmers away form the the bigger waves and the offshore riptides.
