Where's Teddy Now?

-40

Actually, colder. I can truly say that since I’ve moved here from the Territories, way back in 1994, I’ve never experienced a colder day. Well, once (three days, actually, when winter camping in Jasper) it was colder, colder than -42 in fact) but we were prepared for it. It was so cold then that the dog slept in our sleeping bag. Don’t ask, it’s complicated.

The point is that today, it was cold. With windchill, in the -40s. So cold that when I took this picture off the 17th Ave. bridge over the Bow (I know it has a name, but I’m being stubborn) that I was numb by the time I returned to the car. Less than 100 metres.

Cold Bow

This is also my 500th post on tblog since it began in July 2005. That’s two and a half years, 919 days, 22 056 hours, 1 323 360 minutes. It’s not a lot to show for if you consider posts per minute.

There’s your daily trivia for you.
