Where's Teddy Now?

Resort (Day 17)

Every once in a while, even when on Bali, you just get the feeling you want to kick back and relax on the beach. But with access to a pool. Or two or five. And drinks; cold drinks served to your lounge chair, maybe even some gourmet sandwiches and pizza.

Today was out day for that, at the Seminyak Resport on Seminyak Beach.

Not much of consequence got done today. For the all-in price of about $100CAD, we enjoyed a luxury beach-side resort with all the amenities. Beautiful beach, clean and civil, no hawkers or touts, and the bevvies were cold.

Elliotte even made a friend, who spend over an hour with her teaching some pretty wicked castle making techniques.

And although it looks stormy, it was really quite civil, with me getting my first sunburn of the trip. Nothing serious, but still annoying (it would be the only one any of us got on this voyage of five months).

We have so far travelled…

  • 15 833 km Air
  • 394 km driving (6 km today)
  • 119.7 km walking (8.2 km today)

If you look closely, you can even see our pool, under the zigzag path we walked.
